Continuing to Embrace Minimalism

Last week we chatted a bit about minimalism.

I challenged those of you interested in a minimal lifestyle to clean out your closets with me! How did it go? I know I am feeling so much better. I went one step further and cleaned out my daughter’s clothes and even was able to get my husband on board to clean out his!

The plan was so go even farther. Clean out our entire room. It did not quite happen due to my lack of energy (the flu hit, yuck). However, simply knowing that we do not have an abundance of clothes and have been able to donate them is a great feeling! We benefit not only ourselves, but others, by getting rid of the things that we no longer need.

You can feel it right? A minimal lifestyle is right around the corner! Tidy up your room this weekend. Clean up everything lying around the floor and other surfaces. I think we will be surprised by how many things are lying around that we no longer need. I challenge you to donate those things, it adds on another layer of satisfaction!

  1. I’m loving your new minimal look! I decluttered a few months ago. I didn’t feel as empty as I thought I would because I rarely used half of the things that I was giving away. I still have some things that I’m keeping stored away for later use (like dishes, ect), but I’m pretty much done for the most part.

    1. I love this! I think it is so important to declutter. Thank you so much! And best of luck on your continued minimalism journey.❤️
