Top Three Essentials For The Modern Traveler

*This post was sponsored by various brands mentioned below, as always, all opinions remain authentic.

I committed 2017 to travel, adventure, new cities & people. Throughout my travels in 2017 I’ve come up with a short but essential list of prep to do / things to bring on any trip, big or small. Anything that will make my life easier & keep me feeling my best while I am away is a total win in my book.

Let’s get started!

Good luggage

It took me a while to finally land on the perfect one but now that I have my FUL luggage I won’t go back. I prefer to travel out of a carry on no matter the length of the trip & this rose gold babe has so much space, I truly have never owned a piece of luggage with the capacity to hold so much. FUL brand has affordable luggage & if you prefer full sized pieces, duffles, backpacks or maybe something less flashy? No worries, you can find it all!

Nails & Lashes Done

This has really become one of my favorite pamperings leading up to a trip. I realized earlier this year that nothing feels better than waking up already feeling done up & even though can’t treat myself consistently, once a month or every other month before a getaway keeps me feeling picture & adventure ready when I’m out and about in a new city. Kadee over at Polished Image in Sugarhouse is a total doll. She is easy to talk to, has the cutest salon space & truly takes pride in her work. Locals looking to pamper themselves before a trip or just for fun have to check her out!

Compact Natural SkinCare

I am becoming such a sucker for skincare. After struggling with a weird combination of big pores, dry skin & hormonal breakouts I finally got serious about my skin care routine, especially about the type of products I buy. Traveling is no excuse to fall off a routine, in fact, it’s the perfect excuse to give yourself a little extra pampering!

I loved packing Karuna foot & face masks in my last trip to Savannah GA, they are the best size & mess free packaging to slip into your luggage. Post trip I have savored what I have leftover, pulling one out for a self care sesh’ weekly.

Traveling with a carryon is amazing but limits the amount of liquids/liquid sizes you allowed to bring with you, I have become slightly obsessed with the solid options Astrida Naturals offers as far as perfume & shea butter. They smell so fresh & I incorporate them into my daily routine as well.
